I am also facing problem. I want to add membership. so I have uploaded WooCommerce Memberships. customers will usually see add to cart button but if they purchase any plan, will se download button. not cart button.

I have followed your instruction. but does not work. offering 100% discount then in your plugin setting> membership>Include membership restricted items>  Include paid items that have 100% discounts for members. but still does not work.
