    Need to make sure you've enabled download tracking and those settings mate.

    The NL sub site is all set the same as the US site.
    In one site it's working, ,in the other not.

    Looks like if I remove the MailChimp link it would be working again, but that is not what I want.

    If you've set it up so the user is emailed a download link, the download is only logged if they click that link. Are you testing by clicking the download links?

    Yes, that is what we do every time: using different email addresses to check if it is working. The regular logging works fine. The MailChimp connection seems to disturb it.

    Even when it says
    API Key: VALID
    List ID: VALID

    Open up a support ticket and give me the admin login for the site, and a link to one of your free products.

    I'll do this.
    I have to check with our system manager for the login.

    It concerns the install of  Free Downloads in these two site:

    - nl.b-u-t.net: MailChimp connection set, email adress log not working on Free Download nor on MailChimp

    - us.b-u-t.net: MailChimp connection not, email adress log working on Free Download
